ISDN30 This provides customers with up to thirty 64Kbps channels delivered via a single 2Mbps interface. Utilising Direct Dialling Inwards (DDI) facilities, unique telephone numbers can also be provided for individual PBX extension users. £12.50

FAQs

How does it work?

Our service uses a system called Wholesale Line Rental (WLR) to route your outgoing calls over an alternative network to BT, giving you access to competitive call rates, and a wide range of services.

It’s simple to change over, we manage all the processes for you, and there’s no need to change your phone numbers.

Who can use it?

Our service is suitable for UK businesses with BT Lines – and whilst that’s the majority of UK businesses, it does exclude those with Cable or LLU lines.

Guidance

ISDN (digital) lines are generally BT Lines.

Most Analogue lines remain BT Lines, on the BT Network. However, if you currently deal with TalkTalk Business or Sky, you may have what’s known as ‘LLU’ lines.

What is LLU? LLU stands for Local loop unbundling. It’s a process where telephone operators, e.g. TalkTalk and Sky, place equipment into BT local exchanges.

LLU lines are not part of the BT Network. And whilst there is nothing wrong with LLU lines – it does make switching providers more difficult.

What is the application process?

The online application process takes literally a few moments to complete. We’ve tried to make the entire process as quick and simple as possible. The application form will ask for company and phone line details.

Once you have completed the form, you simply need to click Submit and we will take it from there.

Each application is scrutinised by our team before being submitted to BT. We monitor the progress of each order closely to ensure that transfers are completed within 21 days.

What extra features can I get?

Line Services, also known as Select Services are the various additional features you get from BT on your current line. These are services such as Call Minder 1571, Call Waiting and Call Divert, which we also offer but at a discount.

Transferring your Line Rental will not affect any existing services. We will continue to bill you for these services at our discounted rates.

How does Call Divert work?

Call Divert (Analogue lines) allows you to easily forward calls to another phone number*.

You may choose to:

  • Divert all calls
  • Divert on no reply
  • Divert when the line is busy

How does Call Minder work?

Call Minder (Analogue lines) answers your calls and records a message when you’re busy or on the phone. Up to 30 messages can be stored.

Call Minder can be accessed from the landline or remotely to retrieve messages and to change service options such as the number of rings before answer, personal greeting and PIN.

Personal Options are:

  • Number of rings before answering
  • Record your personalised greeting message
  • Change PIN

What happens if there is a fault or problem with my phone line?

Our dedicated Customer Services team handles all fault management.

In the unlikely event that a fault occurs on the BT network and your phone line is affected, simply call us on Freephone 0800 056 0856. Our Faults Helpdesk is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

We will liase with Openreach to get the problem resolved.*

*In the event of a line fault, Customers with our ‘Calls Only’ package would still need to contact their Line Provider, e.g. BT.

What are Bolt-Ons?

Bolt-Ons are available to any new or existing customer subscribing to our Calls Only or Calls & Lines service(s).

It doesn’t matter what type of line(s) your company uses – Standard Analogue, ISDN or BT Featureline.

Inclusive minutes are SHARED across any line(s) you have registered with our service – making Bolt-Ons ideal for companies making calls across multiple lines (e.g. larger offices or remote workers).

After inclusive minutes calls are charged at our highly competitive rates.

Various options are available. Bolt-Ons start from £1.00 / month (ex. VAT). This price includes 60 minutes of Free UK calls*.

Bolt-Ons may be added or removed at any time.

Are there any minimum call charges or connection fees?
